In our scene (Act 3, Scene 1) the setting is very dark and ominous. The stage directions state that there are 2 violins playing, and the woodcutters are chopping down trees. Images we found that influenced our sound score were dark forests, trees, and nature. We think this changed the mood of the sound score a lot, and helped it fit better with what was going on in the scene. The sound is very ominous and dark. We included 2 violins playing in the background, occasional footsteps, and chopping wood to emulate the woodcutters chopping trees in the forest. We think the sound makes you feel more immersed in the scene. If you were reading the play and listening to our sound score, we think it would help you become more immersed. Symbols we included in this sound score are the two violins, which is a symbol for Leonardo and the bride running away from her wedding to the bridegroom.
